LGBTQ+ Inclusion Training from the Human Rights Campaign
Hosted by SOGIE and CMSS April 13 - Register by April 9!
SOGIE Programming and CMSS are partnering with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to host a training on supporting students of color in the LGBTQ+ community. This virtual training will take place on April 13 with two session options: 10am-12pm or 1-3pm.
This interactive training session will support JMU faculty and staff in their efforts to build a more inclusive campus for LGBTQ students. This two-hour session will provide guidance and tools for individuals to think strategically and embed real inclusion and allyship into the classroom and all other campus initiatives, programs, and engagements.

- Coming Out
- Bias, Stigma, and Discrimination (Homophobia/Transphobia)
- Critical Issues
- Supporting LGBTQ Students on Campus
- Resources for Additional Learning
