Co-Enrollment: How to Apply

  1. Once you have been accepted into a VCCS nursing program, send an email to the RN-BSN Operations Coordinator at martinvl@jmu.edu indicating your interest in applying to the co-enrollment program. Please list all post-secondary schools you have attended – this will allow us to track transcripts as they are received.
  2. Email all unofficial college transcripts and a copy of your nursing program schedule to: martinvl@jmu.edu
  3. After all application materials have been received, the program coordinator will evaluate them and, if you are determined a qualified candidate, you will be sent further instructions on how to apply.

Once all application materials have been received and your application is complete, the program coordinator and RN-BSN admissions committee will review for a final admissions decision. Please note: A phone interview with the program coordinator may be required prior to application to the co-enrollment program.

Transcript reviews are accepted throughout the year for entry in fall and spring. Applications are accepted through August 1 for fall admission and December 1 for spring admission, but students are encouraged to apply by the early action deadlines of June 15 for fall and November 15 for spring..
